About the Artist

I started early in life with the appreciation for art In Birmingham,Alabama.
My parents recognized this and helped me to study with a local artist London Bridges for four years. I enrolled into the Ringling School of Arts in Sarasota, Florida where the basic classical schools of thought were taught six days a week. I went on to Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas to recieved my BA in Art degree. While there I had my first solo show.

My wife and family moved to Atlanta to work.

i joined Southestern Pastel Society and got very involved with the group and made many new friends who helped guide me. During this ongoing association I've managed to study with some of the finest Master Pastelist in the country, Margaret Dyer, Albert Handel, Mark Hansen, Elizabeth Mowry, Bill Hosner and Duane Wakeman.
